Poste Italiane has reaffirmed its position as a leader in the field of sustainability by being on, for the fourth consecutive year, the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and the more selective Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index. The Group obtained a score of 87/100, awarded by Standard & Poor’s Global through the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) 2022, which places it in first place among Italian companies in the insurance sector for its performance in the area of governance, also gaining further recognition for its policies and practices in the social sphere. Standard & Poor’s Global compares companies from 61 sectors, assessing their sustainability performance in a comprehensive manner. The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index tracks the performance of the top 10% of the 2,500 largest listed companies within the S&P Global Broad Market Index, while the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index tracks the performance of the top 20% of the 600 largest on the European continent. It is therefore the evaluation obtained on the basis of the results of the CSA of S&P Global, the leading global benchmark in sustainability, that determines the selection of companies to be included on the indices.

These achievements are among the numerous recognitions obtained by Poste Italiane, which is already present on other international sustainability indices including Euronext Vigeo-Eiris Indices, Euronext MIB® ESG, Euronext Equileap Gender Equality Eurozone 100, FTSE4Good, Integrated Governance Index, Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index, Stoxx Global ESG Leaders. In addition to these, there are the ratings obtained from leading international agencies such as the ‘AA’ from MSCI, the ‘A-‘ from CDP, the score of 12.7 from Sustainalytics and the highest score in the 3 areas E-S-G analysed by ISS.
