Farmaci online: Poste in partnership con Redcare per una crescita costante

A sector is on the rise when it comes to online trade – that of parapharmaceuticals. Poste Italiane has signed a partnership with Redcare, a leading company in the online sale of this type of product, and is a pioneer in this new logistics frontier. In Italy, this sector boasts a 5% market penetration, still relatively little compared to other countries in Europe, but showing a steady rise. The agreement between Poste Italiane and Redcare, a company part of the Shop Apotheke Europe group – a major player in the sale of parapharmaceutical products, present in 7 countries and with more than 9 million customers – was born with this growth in mind.

Speed and reliability: Poste is the perfect partner

Redcare chose Poste Italiane for the development of the sector and the delivery of its products in Italy: ‘We are growing very fast,’ told Massimiliano Grigolini, director country management for Italy and Switzerland at Redcare, to TG Poste, ‘and one of the focus points is the speed of deliveries. From this point of view, it was crucial for us to find a business partner that combined customisable services with excellent delivery performance. Poste fulfilled these requirements perfectly’. In this sense, the flexibility of the Poste Delivery Business courier service, which allows the maximum customisation of delivery services, and the capillarity of Poste Italiane were key elements in the choice of Redcare. Grigolini further explains: “Flexibility and capillarity are fundamental for us and Poste is unique on this front. An important point is related to the network of post offices and pick-up points in general. We are targeting this part of Poste services in the near future.”

First excellent results of the agreement

A couple of months into the partnership, the balance is positive: “Customers are very happy,” Grigolini concludes, “of being able to manage and customise their orders. For us, this is just the beginning of a long partnership, we have many plans for the future.
