At high altitude with Poste Italiane
The TG Poste cameras went to an altitude of 12,000 metres, on board one of the flights with which Poste Air Cargo transports parcels and correspondence throughout Italy every night (including some international routes). Brescia Montichiari and Rome Fiumicino are the strategic hubs of a network that can count on the airports of Catania, Palermo, Olbia, Lamezia Terme and Bari: 'I have been with Poste Air Cargo for about 18 years,' Silvia Baldussu, Poste Air Cargo's first officer, told TG Poste, 'and can therefore consider myself one of the company's veterans. The secret to doing this job professionally is passion, which always accompanies us during the flights'. Then Commander Thomas Aggio described the last operations to be carried out before take-off. The delivery then took place from Brescia to Palermo, with a stopover in Cagliari.
