Poste Italiane's plan for the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles in public spaces made available by local institutions has been presented. The initiative was illustrated at the headquarters of ANCI Marche in Piazza Roma 7 in Ancona, during a meeting between some representatives of Poste Italiane, the President of ANCI Marche Federico Fioravanti and some mayors from Ancona.
The charging stations
The installation of charging stations for electric vehicles, fully funded by the company and without any cost to the local administrations, will contribute to promoting sustainable mobility: one of the objectives of the Polis project, created to support economic, social and territorial cohesion, and the overcoming of the digital divide in municipalities with less than 15,000 inhabitants. This will reduce the distances between the Public Administration and small communities, and transform post offices into a true hub for digital services.
Polis in Ancona
During the meeting, Poste Italiane reviewed the results achieved in the province of Ancona thanks to Polis. To date, there are already 24 municipalities where the renovation works have been completed, while another 5 are currently undergoing adjustment work. At the end of the year, the goal is to complete the work on another 10 post offices and reach a total of 39 locations in as many Ancona municipalities.
The available services
Currently, in 40 post offices of the municipalities of Ancona under 15 thousand inhabitants, it is already possible to request the personal and civil status certificates, made available by Anpr, the database owned by the Ministry of the Interior, as well as three INPS certificates: the pension slip, the 'Certificazione Unica' (annual income statement) and the "OBIS M" form, which provides a summary of key information regarding the pension payment. The "Voluntary Jurisdiction Proceedings" services are also available, with the possibility of submitting applications for "Appointment of Supporting Administrator" and "Statement of Assets of the Assisted Person", as contained in the agreement signed between the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the Ministry of Justice and the Poste Italiane.
How to request the service
Finally, the Company has activated an email box that can be used by local administrations that intend to request, without any charge, the installation of charging stations: piccolicomuni@posteitaliane.it.
