Poste Italiane wins the 'Sustainability Report' award for the second year running

For the second year in a row, Poste Italiane won the ‘Sustainability Report’ award in the Large Companies category. The award was obtained for the quality of non-financial reporting and the application of integral ESG (environmental, social and governance) sustainability principles in business activities and processes.  For the fourth edition of the Award, promoted by Corriere della Sera Buone notizie in collaboration with its technical partner NeXt, Nuova economia per tutti Aps Ets, all types of official non-financial reporting were assessed, with a specific focus on sustainability reporting for companies, with the aim of encouraging transparent, clear and effective communication on sustainability strategies implemented with the participation of stakeholders.

Development and Sustainability

The respect and adoption of sustainability principles, integrated into business strategies, is a priority for Poste Italiane, which contributes to the sustainable development of the country. To this end, the company has adopted a medium- to long-term business model that places innovation and sustainability at the heart of all Group strategies. Poste Italiane contributes to the transition to a low-carbon economy by reducing emissions in its business operations as part of its Industrial Plan, supporting the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C. The 2025 edition of the Award saw the participation of 231 companies, including 115 large, 76 medium and 40 small companies active in18 economic macro-sectors.
