The third edition of 4Weeks4Inclusion has started, the largest inter-company event dedicated to the theme of inclusion which, this year, involves more than 250 partners from companies including Poste Italiane, committed to promoting a corporate culture centred on these values, as well as universities, associations, and non-profit organisations with the aim of enhancing the individual right to diversity.
Initiatives
The relay will last four weeks, until 6 December, during which time Italy’s biggest companies will pass the baton of inclusion with webinars, testimonials, and workshops. The scheduled events, which can be viewed at 4w4i.it, aim to promote an interdisciplinary debate open to all in the presence of representatives from institutions, the business community, and trade unions.
What’s new this year at 4Weeks4Inclusion
There are several new features in this third edition of 4Weeks4Inclusion. Every morning, from 8:50 to 9:00 a.m., there will be a live press conference on the topics of inclusion and valuing diversity, with Cristina Tagliabue, director of La Svolta. There are also three themed days dedicated to specific topics: 18 November will be dedicated to LGBTQ+ issues for Transgender Day of Remembrance on 19 November; 25 November will coincide with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and 2 December will focus on disability issues for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December.
Poste Italiane against gender-based violence
Once again this year, Poste Italiane is renewing its participation in 4Weeks4Inclusion. On 25 November, for the themed day against gender-based violence, it will be possible to watch to the webinar entitled ‘Corporate volunteering to support women victims of violence’, organised by Poste Italiane on the 4w4i.it website. It will also be possible to watch the webinar live on Teams on 23 November.
